Matteo Rolfi is an advertising photographer and director working with leading brands and agencies across Europe and beyond.
He is represented by Rockenfeller & Göbels (DACH region), Mandala Creative Productions (Italy), and Piccallo (UK).

BIOGRAPHY:

In 2015, Matteo Rolfi embarked on a transformative journey from the lively heart of Italy to the tranquil landscapes of Switzerland—a move that not only changed his surroundings but also sparked a newfound interest in the art of photography, despite having grown up in an artistic family from birth.

His photographic career began with a passion for outdoor activities and landscape photography, initially as a hobby. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when he was forced to stay at home, he had to channel his creativity in new directions. It was during this time that Matteo discovered and cultivated a genuine passion for still life and product photography, which began at home and eventually led to the establishment of a studio in Cham, Switzerland.

He is involved in both still and motion projects, photographing campaigns for well-known brands and producing short films.

He fuels up with a good espresso, obsesses over color — especially indigo blue — swears by the number 9, and finds joy in piano, indie rock, and a bit of beautiful balance through calisthenics, yoga, meditation, and a great book..

WORKING STYLE:

Matteo is a photographer and director on a never-ending quest to make things look delicious, shiny, and just the right amount of ridiculous - in the best possible way. Deeply inspired by the bold colors and cheeky charm of pop art, his work blends crisp textures, punchy lighting, and a love for visual mischief. Whether he’s shooting Food & Drink, Cosmetics, liquids, or anything with an intriguing shape, surface, or texture, Matteo brings a playful, polished energy to both stills and motion - proving that fun and finesse can absolutely coexist.
